You have been invited to attend an interview for a place studying a course in a college. Unfortunately, because of a previous appointment, you cannot come at the time they wish. Write a letter to the admissions tutor: explain your position apologise and offer to come on another day or later the same day. ask how long the interview will be and whether there will be any tests during it. You do NOT need to write your own address. You should write at least 150 words.

Dear Sir or Madam,
This
is Prudhvi Pinninti, I am writing this
letter to apologize because I will not be able to attend the interview that is
scheduled for next Friday as I have an earlier commitment with my family doctor to undergo surgery. I tried my best to reschedule for another date, however
, unfortunately, there are no further
slots available for the next two months and I was recommended by my doctor to not hold until then
as it is detrimental to my health.
I would like to offer my sincere apologies for not being able to make it as per your schedule and for causing you any inconvenience unknowingly. If at all possible, could you please reschedule it to any other slot on the same evening or postpone it to any later date at your convenience? I am assuring you that this
will not happen again and ensure to be present well before the latest appointment time.
One last
thing that I would need your confirmation on is the total duration of the interview and what all different sorts of tests are conducted. It was mentioned in the invitation letter that all the details would be provided once I send the acceptance letter. I request you consider this
as my acceptance and provide me required information.
Thank you for considering my request and once again I am truly sorry for everything. I will wait for a response from you.
Yours faithfully,
