The table below shows information and predictions regarding the change in percentage of the poplulation age 65 and above in three countries.
The table displays the population of elders ages 65 in three countries namely Canada, Germany and UK with the predictions from 1988 to 2030.
Overall
, it is very clear that the numbers of elderly in three countries will increase until 20130. Germany will rank with the highest percentage followed by Canada and UK with the lowest percentage. In 1988, Germany has the greatest number of seniors with 20% and will remain on top until 2030 at 30% compared to the two countries.
On the other hand
, Canada stays in the second spot with 16% in 1988 and will reach 26% by 2030. It will create a 5% increase from 1988 to 2000 and an additional 5% increase from 2000 to 2030.

, the information shows that the UK has the least percentage of people aged 65 in 1988 with 14% and 20% in 2030. British will still rank third in the population between Germans and Canadians in the future.
