You have a problem with the computer at the office which has affected your work Write a letter to your manager and say What problem do you have What difficulties does this create for you What could be done about it

Dear Mr Mohammed I hope
this
letter finds you well. I am writing
this
letter to notify you about the problem with my keyboard, and you know that my working scope is making reports so it is a serious problem for me.
This
problem happened when one of my colleagues drop some of his drink on my keyboard by mistake since
then
it is duplicating the letters
while
typing. The IT specialist gave me some options for other keyboards but they are not suitable for my typing style, so I try to work on an alternative but I feel I am so slow at work now. I recommend replacing the keyboard with a new same model because I have a lot of reports that must be done as soon as possible. Sincerely Serag Mounir

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
