For many years, our world has grappled with a range of issues,

 as environmental concerns and pollution.
While
 some progress has been made, there is still much work to be done. In my home country,

, several issues have emerged as unexpected challenges over the past five years. One major challenge is the significant decline in population. Despite still being the most populous country in the world, accounting for a quarter of the global population,
China
's strict "One Child" policy over the past 40 years has resulted in a rapid decline in population since 2010.
As a result
, the demographic growth rate reached zero in 2022, which has had negative consequences for international trade and domestic economic exchanges. Another challenge that
China
 faces is the scarcity of skilled labour, particularly in the fields of IT and AI. With a decline in low-wage labour,
China
 is struggling to keep up with the technological innovations of the next generation. The lack of emphasis on fundamental research and an overreliance on practical applications of technology have made it difficult for
China
 to maintain its status as the "world's factory" in global trade. Despite these challenges,
China
 is a remarkable nation with unique advantages and room for growth. The government is working to create policies to address these challenges and prepare for the future.

To get an excellent score in the IELTS Task 2 writing section, one of the easiest and most effective tips is structuring your writing in the most solid format. A great argument essay structure may be divided to four paragraphs, in which comprises of four sentences (excluding the conclusion paragraph, which comprises of three sentences).

For we to consider an essay structure a great one, it should be looking like this:

  • Paragraph 2 - First supporting paragraph

    • Sentence 4 - Conclusion
  • Paragraph 3 - Second supporting paragraph
    • Sentence 1 - Topic sentence
    • Sentence 2 - Example
    • Sentence 3 - Discussion
    • Sentence 4 - Conclusion
  • Paragraph 4 - Conclusion
    • Sentence 1 - Summary
    • Sentence 2 - Restatement of thesis
    • Sentence 3 - Prediction or recommendation
