The bar chart illustrates the percentage of how parents in a country spent time taking care of their children in the evening in 2022. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
Given is the graph which describes the statistics of parents being involved in taking care of their children in the evening during 2022. The main feature which stands out from the graph is that the majority of tasks are done by mothers. In stark contrast to dads, who sometimes help with homework and almost never with dressing.
Although
more often than not they take part in joined activities,
such
as playing games or preparing for bed. Looking into each category it could be noticed that dressing is almost always done by female parents( approximately 75%) and more rarely together(just above 20%). Games,
however
, are quite often whole family activity( 70%), though in one out of four ,cases it is still done by women only. As regards getting children ready for bed half of it is done by both parents with only 40% by mothers only. It is worth noting that the highest share of fathers was involved in homework(10%),
although
half of it was still made by mothers.
