Some people believe that the government should fund the arts, while others think that it is not the government's responsibility. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

People have different views on whether
artists
should be supported financially by governments or other sources.
Although
both points of view are valid, I believe the money should come from the government for the art project in the country. On one hand, some argued that art and music are just a form of the soft power of the nation and that they may be used to translate all sorts of messages and that they can show the cultural richness and diversity of a country;
for example
, Japan's widely-spread graphic novels, known as "manga", represent a unique aspect of the Japanese culture and stories, and their popularity worldwide contributes to the country's image and tourism industry. On top of that, supporting
artists
financially can
also
boost the economy by creating job opportunities and attracting tourists to visit cultural events and exhibitions.
On the other hand
, some may argue that
artists
' work should be funded by private organisations or individuals who appreciate their work and are willing to invest in it,
such
as businessmen or private agents, or that the artist should be responsible for their own living.
However
, relying solely on private funding may limit the diversity of art and music projects that can be supported, as private investors may only fund projects that align with their personal interests or beliefs. In conclusion,
while
private funding can be a valuable source of support for
artists
, public funding plays a crucial role in promoting cultural diversity and ensuring that all
artists
have the opportunity to pursue their craft.
