The given maps give information about the future changes within the
factoryarea of Norbinton.
Overall, we can see that, compared to the past, most of the
factory's buildings have been replaced by house properties.
In addition, new buildings were erected for the majority in the southern
partof the town. First of all, in the western
part, a new
roadwas added to the roundabout with two house blocks erected by it. Just behind
factorypiece was converted into shops. Going to the north, another
roadwas built, which goes across the river by turning down
partof the farmland.
Then, more housing blocks were developed within the new highway. Looking to the north-east
partof the town, the farmland has remained the same,
however, to the south, many changes have been made. A playground and two house blocks were added above the already present main
at the endof it, the
factorybuilding was repurposed into a school.
Finally, to the south
partof the same
road, we can see a new housing area and to the left, a medical centre was erected.
