The diagrams show how a sporting centre of a particular university developed from a land area of 5200 square metres to 6800 square metres since the year 2007.
Overall
, the key point to note is that
although
there have been many significant alterations today, particularly concerning the facilities, the whole area is still divided into three sections. At the top, as it was in 2007, we can see a football pitch.
However
,
whereas
the previous one was shaped as a rectangle covered by grass, the current one is reconstructed into an oval that has a surface capable of withstanding any weather change.
Besides
, a new running track now surrounds the new field. In the middle of the centre, two things are different now.
First,
the original tennis court inside the sports hall is removed, and an independent square area on the corner has been designated as a squash court. And
secondly
, the original health centre is relocated outside the sports hall, right behind the swimming pool, and is slightly expanded. Turning to the
last
section, there were only three make-shift teaching huts in 2007.
Instead
, currently, three permanent constructions stand next to each other, namely, an injury clinic, a lab, and a teachers' office.
