The planet population is reaching unsustainable levels, and people are facing shortage of resources like water, food and fuel To what consequences may overpopulation lead? In your opinion, what measures can be taken to fight overpopulation?

The
problem
of the size of the population is always observed as the main issue in the world.
Also
,
this
issue gives rise to other consequences
such
as migration, worldwide hunger, crisis and inflation.
Moreover
, other
people
and countries suffer from that
problem
as well. There are
also
some doubts here, because several authorities stimulate
people
to give birth, but others establish new rules and laws about the number of children in each family. In my opinion,
overpopulation
creates some uncomfortable conditions for essential parts of life.
For example
,
people
can’t afford some important medical services because of a lack of doctors or because of different prices for
people
with two or more children and
people
with no children.
In addition
, the government’s way when they stimulate
people
to give birth through sales of medical services might be the reason for
overpopulation
as well. Perhaps, the most important consequence of
overpopulation
might be the influence on the environment. It seems like the endless construction of new buildings, and endless consumption of energy resources always give a huge influence.
Furthermore
, some scientists believe that the endless construction of new houses, especially modern buildings with long roots underground can be one reason for different disasters. From my point of view, the
problem
of
overpopulation
should start to be solved with worldwide recognition
such
as the
problem
which gives an impact and pressure on the whole world. The worldwide society, especially international organizations, can create new rules which will protect the weakest countries and participate in the redistribution of food.
In addition
, governments can help with moving to other territories and find a way to develop new territories as well.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
