It is more important to have a good family than to have friends. Family can always compensate for absence of friendship. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Every person goes through his
life
with other
people
. It may seem that almost all individuals have an extended or nuclear family, a lot of
friends
or one best friend. But our reality can exclude that essential relationship for some reason. We
also
might say that it seems weird when children don’t want to have a close relationship with their parents or peers from school. Sometimes the same things can be like reality for one fraction of
people
, but other
people
don’t attempt that. In my opinion,
people
, especially children who have a good family are really lucky, they can grow up in a good atmosphere, explore
this
world, and learn from their parents as well.
On the other hand
,
friends
also
should exist in their
life
. Having
friends
, we find out different aspects of
life
, we find out how other
people
communicate, study, do their business and other things as well.
Moreover
, the idea of accepting new
people
in your
life
like new teachers
also
can exist.
This
idea explains that we meet new
people
because we go through new steps in our lives and every person gives us something that we need at
this
time. It can be new knowledge or some traditional ideas. More likely, I can't agree with the suggestion that a good family can always compensate for all important parts of friendship, even parents who communicate with their children like
friends
communicate with each other.
People
, no matter what age they have, always have some interests or hobbies which they want to share with other
people
.
Furthermore
, a lot of teenagers and adults are not able to discuss them with a family,
however
, they still need someone to talk to about them. From my point of view, family plays a vast role in our lives as much as
friends
. Every person needs to have a good relationship with his family, but
also
be capable of having
friends
and don’t try to compensate for one essential part of
life
by others. We just should try to keep balance and be patient before we meet our
people
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
