The pie chart gives information about the number of different elements of nutrients consumed daily. The most obvious fact shown by the chart is that the highest intake of 3 types of poor nutrients happens during dinner and snacks. Nearly half of the sodium (43%) and saturated fat (37%) allowed for the day are absorbed during these evening meals.
Furthermore
, the amount of added sugar eaten simultaneously is
also
considerable, which is 23%. Of daily added sugar intake, 42%, which is the largest portion is spent on the lightest meal of the day - snacks. The poor nutrients are consumed less during the main meals of the day. For breakfast, the intake is quite stable, ranging from 14% to 16%.
However
, an increase in absorption is seen during lunch with sodium, saturated fat and added sugar accounting for 29%, 26% and 19% respectively. In conclusion,
it is clear that
people tend to have unhealthy food for their dinner and snack rather than breakfast and lunch.
