The two pictures illustrate the condition of Ashford in 2010 and in the present time. There are several differences that can be seen in the pictures.
Overall
, Ashford has become greener, and more populous, and underwent infrastructure improvement. Compared to 2010, when people still had to catch a ferry to cross the
river
, Ashford now has a bridge connecting the east and west sides of
River
 Tam. In the south of the bridge, there is a new yacht marina that has three berths that can be allotted to anchor the ships. On the east side of the
river
, the residential area has developed from just a few landed houses into multi-storey buildings along the riverside.
This
 residential is
also
 linked to the yacht and the bridge.
On the contrary
, the west side of the
river
 becomes greener. The greenery has grown in the south of the road to the city,
while
 the forest on the north of the road is well preserved.
