Last month you had a holiday overseas where you stayed with some friends. They have just sent you some photos of your holiday. Write a letter to your friends. In your letter: thank them for the photos and for the holiday explain why you didn’t write earlier invite them to come and stay with you
Dear Zaki
I hope you are doing fine, it’s been a
while
since we last
saw each other.
I'm writing this
letter to thank you for such
a memorable holiday, I truly had the best time of my life being with you there, also
thank you for sending me the photos, I was worried that we wouldn't look so good in the pictures since we took them at the end
of the day while
we were extremely tired.
I’ve to apologise as well, I didn't write back earlier and trust me it was for a good reason because, on the exact same day after my return, my boss called me and told me that there’s been an emergency at work that needs my intervention, so I had to start working the very next day.
Do you fancy coming over for a visit to my country? you've always promised me to visit but never fulfilled that promise, so how about next August? two-week vacation and you will stay at my place.
I can't wait to hear from you
All the best
