The first chart below shows how energy is used in an average Australian household. The second chart shows the percentage of greenhouse gas emissions which result from this energy use. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The two pie charts depict the usage of
energy
for different purposes in an Australian home and the greenhouse
gasses that are emitted from them respectively.
Overall
, it can clearly be seen that heating constitutes a vast portion of the energy
use in the house and water heating also
accounts for a greater part of greenhouse
gas emissions.
It is evident that heating and water heating utilize the most power at 42% and 30 % respectively. This
is followed by other appliances which consume 15 % of energy
. Refrigeration which is the next records 7 % of the total energy
consumption and lighting and cooling being the least at 2 % and 4% respectively.
Water heating and other appliances ,on the other hand
, comprise more than half in terms of the production of greenhouse
gasses at 32% and 28 % respectively. This
is followed by refrigeration which is 14% of the total greenhouse
gases produced. Heating is the next highest at 15 % with lighting and cooling being the least at 8% and 3% respectively.
It can be noted that the proportion of greenhouse
gas generated is greater than that of energy
consumptionSubmitted by fremaadjei18 on
