The given diagram provides information about three various places in a European nation visited by international visitors from 1987 to 2007.
Overall
, the number of overseas visitants travelling to the coast and mountains showed a steady increase during the specified period of time.
However
, the figure of tourists exploring the lakes saw an unstable fluctuation throughout the years. The number of tourists visiting the lakes dramatically rose roughly from 10000 to 40000 during the first 10 years of the period, after which it reached its peak of 75000 in 2002 and
subsequently
 fell sharply to a lower point, 50000 in 2007.
In contrast
, the population of intercontinental tourism in the alpine regions
also
 experienced a steady increase before rising to the same number in the lake region in 1992, 25000 people. Afterwards,
this
 figure rose again to 30000 in 1997, where it remained at the same level until it increased
further
 to an all-time high of 35000 in 2007. In 1987, the amount of global tourism on the coast accounted for 40000 before falling to 35000 in 1992. After a slight drop, it made a rebound, striking constantly for an all-time high at 75000 in 2007 where it shared the same position as the figure for visitors travelling to the lakes in 2002.
