, the figure of tourists exploring the lakes saw an unstable fluctuation throughout the years. The number of tourists visiting the lakes dramatically rose roughly from 10000 to 40000 during the first 10 years of the period, after which it reached its peak of 75000 in 2002 and

fell sharply to a lower point, 50000 in 2007.
