The following bar chart illustrates attendance and ticket price at a number of different events, in the year 2009.
Overall
, we can see that the movie theatre had the largest number of admissions by far, with approximately 1.15 million.
In contrast
, sports had the lowest by a considerable margin, with around 150,000. The cinema

had the cheapest ticket prices on average,
whereas
football games were the most expensive to attend. When specifically looking at sports, AFL football games were the most expensive for both individual and family tickets, at $75 and $298 respectively.
On the other hand
, cricket games demonstrated the least expensive entry prices, at just $24 per head, and $80 for a family of four. In comparison, theme parks and the cinema were far more affordable.
