Dear Sir or Madam, I’m trying to get some advice about getting the best out of visiting Shiraz, as I’m planning on visiting your area in July for 3 days, from the 10th to the 13th. First of all, what nature place can you recommend for camping?

, are there any special events during the time that I will be there? I have heard that there was a traditional annual ceremony on the 12th of July on Takhte-Jamshid. But it seems that it hasn’t been held in the previous two years because of Covid-19. So, I was wondering if the ceremony will be held. Thanks for your time Yours sincerely, Manijeh Roostaei

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
