Your neighbor has recently written to you to complain about the noise from your house. Write a letter to your neighbor. In your letter: - Explain the reasons for the noise, - Apologise - Describe what action you will take.
Dear Mrs. Smith,
I am writing to apologise for the noise we have made recently.
Our family has had some construction work in the
last
two weeks. We have built two extra rooms for our sons as they are growing up to have their own spaces. I noticed that the noise has mainly come from the automatic sawing machine and the dialogues from the workers.
I feel so sorry that such
noise has given your family a lot of conveniences. I really do not know that Mr Smith got sleep disorders so he need rest during the day, but he could not because of those sounds.
On a positive note, the sawing works will be finished today and all the jobs will be completed in two weeks, and I have asked the workers not to talk or laugh out loud any longer. If you still hear that, please let me know.
Once again, please accept my apology and thank you for your patience.
Yours sincerely,
