The figure compares the wheat exports in three different regions during the period of 1985 to 1990.

had fluctuated in those periods with mostly

leading the
number
before
then
being taken over by the
European
Community
. In 1985, the
number
for all the regions not having much difference by around 15 to 20 with
Canada
leads. It continues until 1986 with slightly a down for all but
then
in 1987
Canada
rose sharply and reached its peak at 25 in 1988 (
European
Community
and Australia both 15 and 14). But in 1989 after having its peak before,
Canada
started to fall by 11 points to be taken over by
European
Community
which took the lead rising to 18. A year later in 1990, even though
Canada
still had a quiet increase,
European
Community
still leads the rest. Australia during all the periods had the lowest
number
except in 1986 when all other regions experienced a decrease.
