The bar chart illustrates the number of pupils taking part in 6 key majors at a university in the US in the year 2010. Generally,

finance attracted the largest total of students, the opposite was true for engineering.

Besides

, more males chose to study mathematics and economics,

whereas

females found accounting

as well as

marketing more fascinating to learn. As can be seen, Finance was the most popular major. Boys and girls participating in finance shared the same percentage, with 225 students.

engineering

saw an equal sum of both genders, it stood at only 50.

It is clear that

male individuals were more interested in Math and Economics as the number of students attending stood at 200 and 150 respectively. Meanwhile, only over 50 females chose these 2 majors.

By contrast

, accounting and marketing seemed likely to be more suitable for girls. About 200 female pupils joined in the former subject, compared to 175 male counterparts.

, The latter subject attracted 125 girls

the figure for boys was only 75.

There are a considerable amount of merits and demerits in regard to this issue, and this essay discusses both of them.

It is argued that these individuals who settle down abroad are supposed to adapt to the rules and traditions of the host country. While there are many reasons why they tip the balance in favour of sticking to their national customs, I completely agree with this proposal and I do believe that they can benefit a lot from getting used to these new cultures.

Nowadays ,it is quite common to come across Korean and Turkish serials on Tv channels and Netflix. Some people think that it is a negative trend and may have bad consequences as the public may end up getting disconnected from their roots. I don't believe in this theory and here in this essay,I will share my views on why it is beneficial for the masses to be exposed to different cultures and languages.

Across the world there are many countries where people with advanced degrees are struggling to find employment. I think this is because full-time employment is no longer the cornerstone of modern economies. Universities need to re-structure study options in order to keep abreast of this development. People often declare that there is no work around anymore. In fact, there is plenty of work. Casual, on-call, contract, part-time and temporary positions have proliferated in recent years. What is much rarer now is permanent employment, meaning positions with a long-term contract, benefits, stability, internal promotion and skills development organised by employers. The problem is that the university education system was designed for an employmentcentred economy. People would dedicate anything from five to seven years to diligent study in order to get a guaranteed career at the end of it. There is no guarantee anymore.
