I am writing

letter to seek your permission "to work
from home" from starting the week of July till December. I am hoping you could take my request into consideration as I am working on Mr Smith's project.
To verify my reason I would like to give you an update about Mr Smith's project. As our team has 4 members who are working on this
project but due to
a family emergency, my coordinator Devi is taking off from next week starting of July till December.
To cover all pending jobs we have to struggle for longer hours and it is time-consuming to travel such
a far distance every day. Moreover
, If I am going to work
from home I can focus properly on my strategies to evaluate proper methods of work
to solve the day-to-day problems. Also
, I can save at least two hours daily that I waste on travelling.
I hope you can understand my situation and permit me to work
from home for the next 6 months.
