The chart gives the percentage information about the daily usage of the
internet
by people
in the UK, in the age
groups of 16-24, 25-44, 45-54, 55-64, and 65+ from the years 2003-2006.
Overall
, teens and youngsters were found to be the most users of the internet
while
people
aged above 65 were the least. Additionally
, as people
get older, they gradually use the Internet
less, also
the majority of people
in each age
group
consumed the Internet
in the year 2006.
In the year 2005, 100 individuals from the 16-24 category utilized the internet
whereas
only around 15 people
consumed their data pack from the age
group
of 65+ making it the least internet
consumption.
In 2006, the majority of the people
consumed the data on a high basis ie., around 90 people
in the age
group
of 16-24, 80 in 25-44, similarly
in 45-54, almost 50 in 55-64 and finally
20 in the 65+ age
group
