This
provided line graph illustrates the number of books
loaned out from rural libraries over a period of four months, in 2014, and the pie chart explains the proportions of books
borrowed in terms of genre. Overall
it can be seen that the borrowing of books
from the four libraries was quite varied, and the books
of fiction were the most popular ones borrowed.
Firstly
, borrowed books
from Ryeslip and Sutton Wood were quite high at the beginning compared to the others, at 300 and 250 books
per month in June, respectively for each one. However
, the borrowing process fell steadily at Ryeslip to stop, at about 175 books
in September, but Sutton Wood followed an erratic pattern, which was, at nearly 275 in July, then
; it dropped suddenly to 100 books
in August, and it dramatically rose again to 300 at the end
of the period.
But West Easton and Church Mount had a similar pattern for borrowing books
because the starting point was identical, at 50 in June, and then
both of them clumped to stand, at 150 books
in September. In addition
to that, fiction books
represented the highest ratio of borrowing, at 43% in comparison to the others. But biography books
were the next popular which borrowed, at around one-fifth. Although
the percentage of borrowing science and history was the same , 14%, self-help was the least popular one, at 10%.Submitted by sm710129 on
