The line graph illustrates the exportation rates of Australia to four countries ( Japan, the US, China and India) between 1990 to 2012.

Overall

, the percentage of Australian goods exported to China increased dramatically over the time period which coincides with the moderate decrease in the number of exports to Japan and the US

while

the exportation rate to India was stagnant for a

while

then

it experienced a gradual rise followed by a minor decline

at the end

of the period. The proportion of Australian exports to China started out at a tiny fraction in 1990 which

then

continued to increase gradually until a sharp growth from slightly above 10% in 2005 to approximately 25% in 2010 as it reached almost 27% in 2012. The exportation rate from Australia to India was at a plateau from 1990 to 2000

then

it rose dramatically to about 7% in 2010 and a slight drop to well under 10% in 2012 The percentage of exported goods from Australia to Japan was at around 26% in 1990 before it experienced a downward trend over the time period until it was almost 18% in 2012

whereas

the Australian goods sent to the US experienced some fluctuations until it decreased gradually to reach around 5% in 2010 and it rose marginally to approximately 7% in 2012
