In the contemporary epoch, education has been a major benchmark for folks in attaining success in diverse aspects of life. In view of this, there is an irrefutable discussion that argues whether students who travel or get a job before proceeding to tertiary institutions tend to be more successful than undergraduates who do not. This essay agrees with the point above and would discuss it in the following paragraphs while I conclude with my opinion.
To live under a certain temperature, whether it is a hot or cold climate, is a preference of each person. There are some reasons why they choose to be burning or freezing. They may choose it out of habit, maybe their hometown is warm hence they are more resilient in sweating than shivering. Another reason is from their own bodies, some people may have a faster metabolism thus they need wintry air outside of their body. In explaining both views, I will take my country, Indonesia as an example, since it has both tropical cities like Surabaya and Semarang, and chilly towns like Temanggung and Bogor.
In the contemporary world, the controversy surrounding the usage of advertisements has been a prominent topic. It is commonly believed that advertisement is one of the important reasons for consumerism, notwithstanding its crucial role in promoting a company's production. From my perspective, I completely agree that advertisement exerts some negative effects on people's minds in terms of creating artificial needs.
It has been argued that a large number of people who had a big impact on the world were completely devoted to their work and did not care about the notion of work-life balance. Whilst people need to be invested in their professional lives to do their work the best they can, I believe that we need to prioritise the time we spend with our family and friends, which makes us feel happy and mentally healthy.
Today, children are exposed to a wide range of advertisements, some of which can negatively impact their physical and mental health. In my view, advertising targeted at the younger generation should be restricted, if not banned altogether.
