Amte, residing on Paenela Ave, which is next to your society. I am writing
this
letter in regard to the
job
posting as a helping hand in your home. As I am living in the same area you are, so I thought it would be great to be an applicant for
this
job
. I am an undergraduate student at waterloo university, I have time off
this
summer from my study. I can help you with many types of household activities,
such
as grass cutting, garage cleaning, cleaning the house and pet caring.
Last
summer, not only I did do some of these tasks in the hotel, but
also
I have experience in these tasks at my home.
Thus
, I think it would be better to help you. Now, I have a vacation for 2 months from
this
April to the end of
this
June. My next semester would start on the 7th of July
this
year.
Moreover
, I have one part-time
job
as a waiter in the days-in hotel, and now which is only gives me a few hours a week because it is a seasonal one.
Due to
the same, I have decided to find another part-time
job
to earn money in order to pay my overhead expenses.
Furthermore
, I will be available from 3 pm to 6 pm in the evening every day, because I am occupying myself in the morning with my other part-time
job
at a hotel. I would like to help you with your housework if you give me an opportunity. In anticipation of your favourable response in
this
regard. Thanking you, Yours sincerely, Shishank Amte

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
