You currently live in a rental apartment, and the noise from your neighbors disturbs you. Write a letter to your landlord. In your letter describe how this situation affects you; explain what steps you have taken to address the problem; ask the landlord to take action to resolve the issue.

Dear John smith I am writing
this
letter to inform you about the problem that I am facing since I moved to
this
apartment.
Although
everything is going very well the noise from my neighbour’s apartment is making it very difficult for me to focus on my studies.
Hence
, I am losing my concentration
as well as
my grades. Let me explain to you that, I have tried talking to my neighbour and requested him to cooperate with me for the period of my exams.
Apart from
this
, I asked him to reduce the music volume in late-night parties, so that I do not get distracted by loud music. I request you to tackle
this
issue as soon as possible, please talk to him on your behalf and ask him to stop disturbing the neighbours. I hope you will take the necessary steps to combat
this
problem. Best regards Harpreet Kaur

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
