The plans below show the site of an airport now and how it will look after redevelopment next year.

The maps illustrate what the southwest airport looks like currently and its layout after the refurbishment the following year.
It is clear that
 there will be various striking transformations. Despite the appearance of more gates, the sky train
together with
 some new facilities, some key features will still remain unchanged. As can be seen, one particular change is that the rectangular-shaped area with 8 gates at present will be reformed into a Y shape with 18 gates in order to facilitate the increasing need of commuters.
Besides
, the current walkway is going be replaced by the sky train to travel conveniently and some shops will be opened next to the first gate. Another modernization is that both the departures and arrivals are planned to have one more entrance for each. On the right of the arrivals, an expanded place is going to be used for car hire.
Moreover
, inside the departures,
while
 the security passport control will be located at the same place, the check-in counter is intended to be moved to the right and a bag drops
together with
 the café to the left.
Additionally
, in the arrivals region, there will be a new coffee shop
along with
 an ATM station,
whereas
 the passport control customs will still stay at the old position.
