The Maps below show a beachfront area in Australia between 1950 and today. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The pictures depict a beachside in Australia from 1950 to the present.
Overall
, the coastal area has been developed, and roads have also
been extended. There are some new facilities, such
as sports amenities and recreational areas, that have been added to the coast side.
In 1950, the dual road was situated from the north side to the middle, with at the end
a car park for visitors. The south part of that road had recreational areas for both adults and children. On the west
was a playground, and on the left side of the car park was a pavilion. Four dining tables were located between the playground and the pavilion. The lighthouse was to the east of the beach. Another noticeable place was two swimming pools, whose length was 25 meters. They were located on the west
and east sides.
At present, the dual road has been elongated to the lighthouse. The car park has been doubled; a new one has been erected instead
of the playground. The swimming pool, which was in the west
, increased two-fold in size (50m). To the west
of the beach has been built a new huge restaurant, and along with
it has been constructed one of the surf clubs. The second surf club is next to the little pool.Submitted by akram.amirkulov on
