The pie chart below shows the main reasons why agricultural land becomes less productive. The table shows how these causes affected three regions of the world during the 1990s. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

This
pie chart illustrates the main causes for the decline in productivity of agricultural land. The table identifies the impact of these factors in various areas of the world in the 1990s. In general, overgrazing consisted of 35%, was the top value of worldwide area decay and became the smaller efficiency.
Besides
, in-country degradation in regions is the best pointer in North America with only 5%. As is observed from the pie diagram, the major factor for less productivity is over-grazing. It is followed closely by deforestation which is 5% lower than overgrazing.
Further
degradation is caused by over-cultivation, which accounts for 28%, and the figure is similar to the latter one. The
last
percentage is four times lower than over-cultivation. What can be seen from the provided table is that in Europe, the degradation is the most severe
in contrast
to the two other regions, with most of the countryside suffering from the effects of humanity which are caused by deforestation.
This
is followed by Oceania, which is a huge group of islands in the South Pacific including Australia and New Zealand, where over-grazing was the highest number, with 11.3% out of 13% of total land degraded
for
this
reason. North America contained only one-twentieth of the total land degraded, which means that it is the greatest indicator among other regions.
