Additionally, they contend that these professionals have been trained using taxpayer's money, and therefore, it is only fair that they return home to serve their country. For instance, in many developing countries, there is a shortage of doctors, and allowing them to work abroad could worsen the situation, leading to a decline in healthcare services.
