The bar chart below compares
coffee
and tea consumption habits in five cities in Australia,
according to
the result of a survey, which measured all of them in the
last
4 weeks before answering the questionnaire.
Overall
, residents of all five cities do not have a strong habit of buying fresh
coffee
.
In contrast
with that, most of them tend to go to cafes to drink
coffee
or tea. If we look at the figures for going to cafes,
that is
the most common habit of drinking and buying tea or
coffee
among the people living in Hobart, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney. It is noticeable that in Melbourne and Hobart, going to cafe shops has the highest rates among all the surveyed habits in other cities.
By contrast
, In Adelaide, buying instant
coffee
headed the list, by 50%, being slightly more than the figure for going to a cafe. Buying fresh
coffee
has the lowest proportion in Brisbane, by just under 35%.
That is
the least common habit among all of the measured ones. The highest rate of purchasing fresh
coffee
belongs to Sydney, well above 40%.
