Write a letter to a newspaper editor about the poor condition of a historic building in your area. In the letter you should: ● What building are you writing about? ● Describe the current condition of the building. ● What should be done in this situation?
Dear Sir/Madam,
By writing
this
letter, I would like to draw your kind attention towards the bad status of the historic building in our neighbourhood.
Around the corner of the lane where my house is located, we have an old library which I am seeing since childhood. This
library is a good place
for many people who are interested in reading books or newspapers. It serves the area
people with various books from numerous authors. since for a long time, it is serving the locality and it is a must to have a Change noun form
area's
place
in our colony. But, presently with time, the condition of this
infrastructure is getting worse. The walls are getting damaged. The paint over the doors and windows is faded already. Moreover
, during the rainy season, it has been noticed that it is having a couple of water leakage across the ceiling. These water leaks leave an impact on the beautiful hand-crafted wooden bookshelves in the library. Also
, the unique plaster design on the ceiling is getting affected.
To keep this
place
in working condition. I would like to share some recommendations from my side & which are as follows
The government authorities should sanction some budget to carry out the repair & renovation works. Additionally
, this
place
has to be assigned for maintenance contracts for periodic preventive & corrective checks. By taking these necessary actions this
place
can prevail and it can continue serving the local community and its civilians.
Lastly
, I would like to request you for publishing this
issue in your newspaper in order to seek the attention of governing bodies.
Thanking you
