Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing
this
letter in regard to an international flight
that I missed because of reasons beyond my control.
For the past six months, I have been saving up for this
trip to India. My flight
from Toronto to Turkey
was more than comfortable. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the Turkey
Airport, I was told that my connecting flight
was going to depart late due to
some technical difficulties with the aeroplane, which eventually caused me to miss my flight
.
My parents waited for me at The Delhi airport for two hours at least without any knowledge that I was not able to board the flight
. Not only, this
was a major inconvenience for them, but also
for me too cost-wise. I had to pay for another flight
from Turkey
to Delhi out of my pocket. On top of that, I also
paid for my lodgings at the Turkey
Airport.
I would really appreciate it if I could be compensated for all my expenditures, including connecting

the connecting
flight
and the stay at the hotel. I have included all the receipts with this
letter.

Yours Faithfully,
