, the bar graph illustrates that the residences were rented on a large scale from 1918 to 1961,

whereas

the quantity of the households owned was comparatively lower.

However

, in 1971 the percentage of both was equal at around 50%. Probing ahead, the number of owned houses continuously rose to approximately 60% to 70% between 1981 to 2001.

it slowed down rapidly to 65% in 2011.

Furthermore

, there is a huge difference which is noticeable between 1981 to 2011. The percentage of residences owned was higher,

the number of rented properties oscillated at around 30%.
