The maps depict the layout of a municipal
park
 called Grange
Park
 during 1920 and that of the present day.
Overall
, there are several principal changes to the center of the
park
as well as
 the removal and addition of a number of areas. Back in 1920, Grange
Park
 could be accessed via Arnold Avenue and Eldon Street. Located at the heart of the
park
 was a fountain, and to the left-hand side of it was a platform for musicians' performances where lots of sitting areas could be found surrounding it.
Moreover
, there were two rose gardens opposite each other across the stage for musicians and another one next to Arnold's entrance.
In addition
, adjacent to the right of Eldon's entrance, there was a glasshouse and a pond for water plants that could be found on the top right corner of the map. Today, the fountain has been demolished to build a rose garden with seats covering four sides of it. To the left-hand side of the map, except for the rose garden on the top, the rest of them have been destroyed and replaced by an amphitheatre for holding concerts.
