Your local council is considering closing a sports and leisure center that it runs, in order to save money. Write a letter to the local council. In your letter Give details of how you and your friends or family use the center. Explain why the sports and leisure center is important for the local community Describe the possible effects on the local people if the center closes.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing
this
letter with the intent of expressing my grave concern about halting a sports centre which is currently accessible by local people of our area. I am Joe Warden, a resident of Hills Suite Apartment. I was very disappointed when I heard the news that just for the sake of money you are going to shut down the leisure activity which is the only entertainment source of our residency. There are numerous activities conducted under one roof
such
as gym, tennis court and basketball yard.
Moreover
,
this
centre is crucial for our locality because after prolonged working and study ,hours we all gather here to do some regular exercise and practice our games to stay fit and healthy.
This
is only provenience for socializing with each other and we spend our evening with joy, and it helps to unite all people together.
However
, if you continue with your decision
then
it will adversely affect the local community. As residents will lack physical movement which will lead to health complications. As you know healthy lifestyle is the only key to happiness.
Furthermore
, it will quite be expensive for us to pay extra fees to seek another place which offers the same level of services. Hope to hear positive from your side. Yours truly, Joe Warden
