, there are ten steps to form hydrolat ( aromatic water
) before it is used to produce perfume.
In the first step, a fire was burned to heat the water
inside the tube. The tube was connected to steam that consisted of several aromatic plants before it turned out to be steam and oil vapour due to
the rise of the temperature. The vapour then
condenses using a condenser, a spiral tube to change the form of vapour into liquid. This
tool provides a heat-transfer mechanism which has a suction on the downside that consists of cold water
and discharge on the topside where hot water
will pass through it during the condensation phase.

, the mixture is mixed with essential oil which is then
spun in the separator to remove the unwanted liquid. The final mixture is then
formed, resulting in aromatic water
