You saw a brochure for a one-week walking tour in the mountains. You're very interested in taking part, but you're not very fit and are worried you wouldn't be able to keep up. Write to the tour operator. In your letter: • Explain why you're interested in the tour. • Ask for information about dates and prices. • Express your concerns about your fitness level. You do not need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows: Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear Sir or Madam, I'm writing in regard to the hiking tour I saw in one of the Ad brochures at the train station hall. The landscape and viewpoint illustrations are so attractive and fascinating that I could not miss
this
opportunity as I have only 10 days in the region. Could you please provide me with a tour date as I have to schedule my holidays as I have many places to visit in the upcoming days?
Moreover
, please attach a pricing list for single and couple trips as well. Meanwhile,
due to
the fact that I'm with a friend of mine and his family, I'm interested in the availability of family options too.
However
, there is a concern I would like to share regarding my current physical condition. I haven't practised for a
while
, so could you please advise whether it is significant to be in good shape for
this
walking tour? Looking forward to your response, Sincerely Yours.

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
