Art classes, like painting and drawing are as important as other subjects, should be compulsory subject in high school. To what extant do you agree or disagree?

 of the widely discussed issues nowadays is that
art

 have become compulsory
subjects
 at the present
time
. Now people are beginning to realize that
art
 is not necessary for the elder students. Personally, I tend to think that
art
 does not need to be mandatory chiefly for high school students.
Firstly
, it is well known that at
this
time
 high school pupils do not have an interest in
art
 as it was in the past times. What I mean here is that the educational system where
art
 was on the same level as other
subjects
 becomes outdated for the modern 21st
century
.
One
 of the main reasons behind
that is
 the difference between the 20th
century
 and the 21st
century
 where modern technologies have become an essential part of our lives,
while
 in the past times drawings and painting were the most popular
subjects
. A good case in point is that even Ilon Mask who was born in the past
century
 and
also
one
 of the most popular individuals at the present
time
 becomes the founder of a widely known company which creates modern gadgets,
while
 in the past he has
also
 learned
art
subjects
.
However
, the
art
subjects
 were not useful in the future
time
.
On the other hand
, it can
also
 be argued that painting has become the least necessary
subject
 in the current times.
That is
 to say, teenagers are mostly keen on learning something which will help them make a lot of money, and because of ,that they do not want to study
this
subject
.
Hence
, it just seems like a waste of
time
. Take
for example
 any person from the past
century
 and ask about an
art
subject
 he will definitely say that it was the worst
subject
 in his school. In conclusion, taking everything mentioned into account in our final ,analysis we can say that
art
 has become
one
 of the unnecessary
subjects
 at the present
time
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.
