A friend has offered you some work in his company. You are currently employed and not able to start for 3 months. Write a reply to your friend. In your letter: – give details of what you know about his company. – explain your current situation. – Give your answer to the offer and explain why
Dear Tom,
I hope you're fine. I got your letter yesterday and I'm so thankful to you because you remembered the promise that you gave me the previous year.
I can't still believe, I received an offer from your company. I know your firm is international and only selects good skilled employees. Recently, I read an article about your company that it owns more than 100 offices around the globe. Being a part of that will be a great opportunity, I believe.
As you may be aware, I started a new work here in London and their notice period for resignation is two months. I don't think I'll be able to join your firm before that.
Also
, my girl is going to school here, her classes will finish after three months. I hope you understand my situation.
If you explain my situation to your manager, it may help to hold that position, I believe, because I don't want to lose that job. Working in your renowned firm is my dream job.
I'm eagerly waiting to hear from you soon.
With Love,
