, it is seen that all countries witnessed an increase in foreign pupils over the years. Canada
has the least foreign students, and at the same ,time the United States has the most. The UK and Australia
show similar patterns.
In detail, the number of those studying in the USA was the biggest in both years with approximately 175,000 and 250,000 in 2004 and 2012 . Australia
and the United Kingdom had relatively the same figures with about 120,00 in 2004 and rising to almost 200,000 in 2012. Whereas

there was minimal growth from just under 50,000 to just over that number.
According to
the table, the percentage of international learners in the USA was the same in both 2004 and 2012 (2%). As opposed to the UK with 9% and 13% in 2004 and 2012 respectively, while
Australia
