Some people think that a person improves intellectual skills better when doing group activities.  To what extent do you agree? Use specific details and examples to explain your view.

Many individuals subscribe to the belief that studying in a
group
is more advantageous and efficient than studying alone, as it can result in enhanced personal growth. In my opinion, I concur with
this
sentiment
due to
the myriad benefits it offers. Primarily, engaging in
group
activities provides an avenue where one can exchange ideas and gain knowledge from different participants. Every topic has arguments and differing opinions.
In other words
, working in a
group
allows individuals to examine problems from varied points of view, refining understanding.
For instance
, numerous studies indicate that
team
participation enhances an individual's performance compared to those who work alone.
Therefore
,
team
studies or activities possess unique advantages.
Secondly
, working in a
team
is beneficial in improving connections and relations between
team
members.
Consequently
, playing in a
team
allows individuals to make new friends from different cultures, leading to stronger bonds within society.
This
action helps to broaden their perspectives and think in different ways.
For example
, summer camps offer children the chance to forge new friendships with peers from diverse regions across the country, which may heighten cognitive abilities and enhance critical thinking skills.
Therefore
, it is my contention that
group
-oriented ventures are more efficacious in developing various proficiencies than solitary pursuits. In conclusion, after examining the benefits of
group
activities or games, I wholeheartedly support the idea that young children should be encouraged to participate in teams, as it facilitates their learning and skill development.

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 250 words in writing task 2. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long essay will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 260 to 290 words in writing task 2. This will ensure a concise essay and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 40 minutes to write the essay and you need around 10 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long essay in 30 minutes.
