and several various types of meat in Europe from 1979 to 2004. It is clearly seen that the quantity of people consuming chicken increases during the period

the ones who consume beef, lamb and fish decreases.
Broadly, it is readily noticeable that the consumption
of chicken experiences an upward trend while
the consumption
of meat reported a downward trend.
In terms of chicken consumption
, it showed steady progress throughout the period
, starting at below 150 grams
per week consumed by a person, it experienced a fluctuation between 1979 and 1984; however
, the consumption
recorded a steady rise until 1989. Furthermore
, the fluctuation trend again was shown from 1989 to early 1994 and 1994 to around 2000. It comprised 250 grams

, beef and lamb consumption
