The maps illustrate the current state as is the downtown of a city called Islip and the project to be building in the future.
Overall
, the main change is the construction of a round and dual road around the centre, including some facilities. On the current map of Islip, it is possible to see a main street crossing the city from West to East, with many shops on the North and South sides. Beneath the retail
area
below the main road, there is an
area
for houses. In the Southwest, near the housing, there is a school and in the Southeast side, there is a huge park. For the planned development, it will be built a ring avenue around the town centre and today there is the main road will be converted into a way for pedestrians only. Along
this
pathway, in the North, there will be placed a bus station, a shopping centre, a car park and a new
area
for houses. On the South side, the
area
for shops will remain,
whereas
the home
area
will be increased next to the school and near the park, which will be reduced
due to
the new housing and the circular boulevard.
