came from the National Government and it was mostly spent to pay officers and staff salaries.
To commence with, the total sources of police revenue saw a considerable increase from 304.7m to 318.6m in 2017 and 2018 respectively. The biggest source was from National Government which increased significantly by 2.3m in two years, followed by the money collected from local taxes which saw a considerable increase from 91.2m to 102.3m. Meanwhile, other sources only had a slight rise of 0.5m.
Regarding the money distribution, more than half of the budget
went to officers and staff pay; however
, it decreased from 75% to 69%. Despite having a downward trend, technology spent around 8% of the money in 2017 but rose to 14% in 2018. Meanwhile, the allocated budget
