The table and charts below give information on the police budget for 2017 and 2018 in one area of Britain.Yh table shows where the money come from and the charts show how it was distributed.
The two charts compare the income sources and expenditure distribution of a police station in Britain in 2017 and 2018.
Overall
, the budget from the national government was always the primary source of income for this
agency, and the salaries category contributed by far the most to the spending over the 2 years.
It is clear from the table that, the budget came from three sources and the total amount of that was increased from 304.7m to 318.6m in a year. It was mostly due to
the rise in the money coming from local taxes which was about 11m pounds. We can see from the table that although
allocation by the government was the highest proportion of the budget, they only increased the fund by about 2 million pounds within a year. The cash flow from other sources remained unchanged across two years.
On the other hand
, the pie chart illustrates the expenditure distribution in this
office. In 2017, the money spent on the technology saw a rise from 8% to 14%. The cost of building and transport remained steady at 17%, so they saved money by reducing salary spending and allocating that to the technology areas.Submitted by ziba.gharehnazifam on
