A glance at a line graph provided reveals the

air

contaminants’ sources in the UK divided into 3 various genres namely industry, transportation and household, counted in million tonnes, from 1990 to 2005.

Overall

, there was a recessive growth pattern in almost all data except for the transport’s

air

pollutants. With respect to the total

air

contaminants released, commencing from exactly 7 in 1990, it dwindled dramatically and constantly to over 3 which experienced a two-fold decrease after 15 years. In terms of the industry’s emission,

although

it was the highest compared to others at nearly 5,5 in 1990, it observed an exponential and consistent decline to correctly 2 after a subsequent 15-year period. Regarding the released amount of

pollutants of transport and that of households, even though they had similar initial points, they had
