The diagrams below show the life cycle of a species of large fish called the salmon.
The flow chart illustrates the life cycle of salmon fish which is a kind of large fish.
Overall
, their life cycle contains three main stages which are started by laying eggs and continued by their growth process and living in different parts of the river
and the open sea.
At the first step, such
fishes lay under the small stones at the foot of the reeds in the upper river
where the flow of water is slow. These eggs remain there for approximately 5-6 months. After that, small salmons which are called fry hatch out and go to the lower portion of the river
with fast flow with different lengths from 3 to 8 cm. They have lived there for almost 4 years.
At the following stage, Smolts which have a length of about 12 to 15 cm move to the sea, and during around 5 years of living in the open sea they become adult salmon with larger size
between 70-76 cm. Fix the agreement mistake

After
this
period they come back to the upper river
and lay new eggs. This
natural life cycle of salmons repeats over 10 years.Submitted by kmibehnaz98 on
