1.Some people think its a good thing for senior managers to have much higher salaries than the other workers in a company. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

The issue of whether it is advantageous for top-level
managers
to receive substantially higher remuneration than their colleagues is a topic of ongoing debate. In my opinion, it is entirely appropriate for senior
managers
to have much higher salaries than other workers in a company. One compelling reason for my agreement is the level of responsibility that senior
managers
bear. They are often entrusted with making pivotal decisions that can significantly influence the company’s trajectory.
This
high level of responsibility, I believe, warrants a higher salary.
For instance
, a CEO might have to decide on a new strategic direction for the company, a decision that could affect the livelihoods of all employees and the company’s
overall
success.
In contrast
, some people claim that a large salary disparity can lead to dissatisfaction among lower-level employees. They firmly insist that a more equitable salary distribution would promote a sense of unity and collective purpose.
However
, I do not find
this
argument convincing as companies often have other mechanisms,
such
as performance bonuses and employee recognition programs, to motivate and reward their employees. In conclusion, I completely concur with the notion that senior
managers
should receive much higher salaries than other workers
due to
the significant responsibilities they carry and the unique skills they possess.

Task Achievement
The essay has presented a clear position, but your argument could be strengthened by discussing multiple perspectives before reaffirming your own stance. Address potential counterarguments in greater depth. Also, ensure that the conclusion is not overly simplistic and reiterates key points succinctly.
Coherence and Cohesion
You have maintained a logical structure throughout your essay. However, the transitions between ideas could be smoother, and the essay would benefit from a range of cohesive devices. Work on varying sentence structures to enhance the flow of paragraphs.

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
